We know it’s disappointing to see Bean Points expire before you’ve had a chance to redeem them. Unfortunately, once Bean Points have expired, they cannot be reinstated. But don’t worry there are simple steps you can take to make sure you never miss out on your rewards again.
Why Bean Points Expire
Bean Points expire 12 months after the month in which they were earned. This policy ensures we're able to keep your rewards program running smoothly and fairly for all members.
Tips to Avoid Losing Bean Points
- Track your expiry dates in the MyCBTL app under the “Expiring” tab
- Set a calendar reminder one month before points are due to expire
- Redeem small rewards regularly instead of saving up for a big redemption
- Check the “My Bean Points History” section at least once a month
How to Redeem Bean Points Before They Expire
- Open the MyCBTL app
- Tap the purple Membership Card on the Home screen
- Select “My Bean Points History”
- Tap the “Expiring” tab to see which points are about to expire
- Choose a reward and tap Redeem before the expiry date
